In 2024, James Hope University (JHU) officially unveiled its much-anticipated School of Business—an institution designed to deliver world-class executive MBA programs tailored for forward-thinking business professionals. Backed by the visionary leadership of Mr. Jim Ovia, Founder of Zenith Bank, through the Jim Ovia Foundation, this new academic arm represents a bold step toward shaping the future of executive education in Nigeria and beyond.

The design plan for the James Hope Business School includes adaptive classroom layouts, breakout pods, integrated digital learning zones, and administrative areas—all carefully curated to support modern learning styles and real-world application. Reflecting the institution's mission to produce globally-minded leaders equipped to thrive in an ever-evolving business landscape.

Recently, key stakeholders from James Hope University, including academic leadership and executive partners, took part in a walkthrough of the facility ahead of the official program launch.

“Our mission has always been to use innovative design as a tool to unlock human potential,” said Remi Dada, CEO/Founder of Spacefinish and CampusHQ. “With James Hope University, we see an opportunity to co-create learning spaces that align with the evolving expectations of students, educators, and professionals —spaces that are flexible, inspiring, and intentionally built for the future of business education.”

The transformation is set to be a strategic focus to strengthen business growth, designed to encourage engagement, creativity, and critical thinking. These values are core to the university’s goal of developing Africa’s next generation of global business leaders.

The James Hope University project adds to Spacefinish’s growing portfolio of transformational spaces in education, finance, technology and the public sector. As part of its mission, Spacefinish continues to challenge the status quo of the future of work and learning environments—proving that when designed with people in mind, space becomes a catalyst for business growth and innovation.
